Who is Varun Murugesan?
By day, Varun is an Associate Research Manager at Best Buy, one of the world’s largest retailers of consumer electronics. By night he is the Co-Founder and Head of Research of Apple & Banana, the UX research community he started with his two brothers.
Apple & Banana helps to educate both non-researchers, such as PMs, designers, and engineers, as well as new UX researchers, on how to improve their research skills through simple, insightful, and well designed content. Â
Before Best Buy, Varun was a UX Researcher at Facebook. There, he helped the business to understand the future of Facebook Groups, a product that - at the time - had almost 1 billion users.
