Who is Matt Watkinson?
Matt is the CEO and Co-Founder of Methodical, an experience design agency that helps customer-centred businesses to develop new products and services and to improve their existing programs and experiences, while delivering greater customer and commercial value.
He is also the author of two highly regarded books (soon to be three). His first, âThe Ten Principles Behind Great Customer Experiencesâ put Matt on the map and his second, âThe Grid: The Master Model Behind Business Successâ was published in 2017, to critical acclaim.
Matt has been described by Rory Sutherland, the vice chairman of the Ogilvy & Mather group of companies, as âOne of the deepest and most original business thinkersâ he has ever come across. And itâs this depth and originality that has seen Matt invited to share his ideas at events for companies like Microsoft, Volkswagen, Salesforce, American Express, and Google.

Who is Jesse James Garrett?
Jesse is the Principal Leadership Coach of Intentional Associates, the executive design leadership coaching practice that he founded in 2020. And itâs through his coaching work that he is helping design leaders to develop the skills to lead with greater purpose, intention and creativity.
Many of you may know Jesse for his influential model from the year 2000, âThe Elements of User Experienceâ, and his book of the same name. Itâs this foundational thinking, at frontier of UX, that has helped to inform, inspire and enlighten multiple generations of UX designers.
Jesse was also a Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer of Adaptive Path, one of the original and most renowned User Experience consultancies. At Adaptive Path, Jesse worked tirelessly for 13 years to put UX design on the enterprise map.
Throughout the years, his writing, teaching and public speaking has been unfailingly generous, taking him all over the world, including to events such as UX Lisbon, UX Salon, and USI.Â
Jesseâs contributions continue through the âFinding Our Wayâ podcast, a show about design leadership that he co-hosts alongside Peter Merholz, his good friend, fellow Adaptive Path Co-Founder, and Brave UX alumnus.

Who is Erika Hall?
Erika is the Director of Strategy at Mule Design, the infamous design consultancy that she Co-Founded with Mike Monteiro, almost 21 years ago to the day.
And they certainly have pulled no punches in presenting their perspectives.
Erikaâs ability to take challenging subjects and to wrap them in her own signature kooky, cohesive, and compelling style has given many designers plenty of practical âin-the-trenchesâ training, as well as insightful 30,000 foot mind-food to chow down on.
She is the author of âJust Enough Researchâ (now in itâs second edition), a distillation of her extensive experience in design research, into an easy-to-follow guidebook that helps designers to think more critically about research and to wield it more expertly.
Erika is also the author of âConversational Designâ, a book that helps designers and technologists to make their systems and products feel less robotic and more human.

Who is Samuel Proulx?
Sam is the Accessibility Evangelist at Fable, a user research platform that connects people with disabilities, with people who want to create a more accessible Internet. Fable also provides those same people with custom training, so they can build more inclusive products.
At Fable - as Samâs title would suggest - he is responsible for evangelising accessibility and inclusive design. This means keeping those subjects on the radar of our worldâs enterprises and helping them to see that accessibility can be more than an exercise in compliance.Â
He is also very involved in the broader accessibility community, including as a long-time moderator of the official sub-reddit for Blind and Visually Impaired people. He is also the co-host of the Disability Bandwidth podcast and host of The Inclusion Hub podcast.
Recently, named on Royal Bank of Canadaâs Future of Good 2022 list, Sam is one of 30 Young Impact Leaders who have recently been celebrated as people creating impactful and positive change in their communities.

Who is Matt Young?
Matt is the CEO of UserVoice, a software company that helps growing B2B SaaS companies to collect and make sense of customer feedback.Â
Before joining UserVoice in 2015, Matt was the Vice President and CTO of Vodori, a digital marketing consulting and product company. There, he spent seven years focused on achieving excellence in enterprise software development.
After earning a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, as well as a Masterâs of Science in Computer Science, Matt invested 22 years in engineering before becoming a product leader â a journey that gives him a unique and valuable perspective.
Matt has recently been generously sharing that perspective with product people at Product School and Product Camp, as well appearing as a guest on podcasts such as the Scale Up Show, Lessons On Product and Tied Together, amongst others.

Who is Christina Wodtke?
Christina is one of the most impactful, established, and original thought leaders in Silicon Valley. There wonât be many of you listening who havenât at least heard of her groundbreaking and bestselling book on OKRs, Radical Focus - now in its second edition!
A self-described âcurious humanâ with a serious big-tech resume, her work in design and product has included redesigns and IPOs at companies such as LinkedIn, MySpace, Zynga, and Yahoo!
But those big names only scratch the surface of Christinaâs professional story. She has co-founded a tech startup, co-founded the Information Architecture Institute, founded and was the original publisher of Boxes and Arrows, and is the founder Women Talk Design.
Christina is currently preparing the next generation of product and game designers, as a full-time lecturer at Stanford University. Previously, Christina was an Associate Professor at California College of the Arts, where she taught creative entrepreneurship.

Who is Kareem Mayan?
Kareem is the Co-Founder of Savio, a SaaS product that helps makers of SaaS products to centralise, organise and prioritise product feedback, delighting customers and reducing churn.Â
He is also the Founder and Principal Consultant of Trial to Paid, where he helps growing product-led B2B SaaS companies to increase trial to paid conversion.Â
Between 2002 and 2007, Kareem worked at ESPN.com, as a Technical Producer and then at Fox Interactive Media, as a Director of Product Development for the R&D division.
Kareemâs passion for product has seen him start three companies and acquire one - Codetree, a source management product that he and his partners grew and sold, after purchasing it from Derrick Reimer, the co-founder of Drip.

Who is Kevin Bethune?
Kevin is the Founder and Chief Creative Officer of dreams âą design + life, a strategic design consultancy that helps companies like PepsiCo, Nike, and Berkshire Hathaway, to bring a multi-disciplinary, human-centred and innovation-focused lens to business.
Graduating from Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Kevin started his career in the nuclear energy industry with Westinghouse Electric, where he became closely acquainted with the ins-and-outs of nuclear reactors.Â
After earning an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University, Kevin joined Nike, in a business role. However, his curiosity soon led him to footwear designa, where, thanks to the mentorship of DâWayne Edwards, he would design the record-breaking Air Jordan Fusion 8 shoe.
Seeking new horizons and to solidify his creative foundation, Kevin left Nike for a Master of Science in Industrial Design at the prestigious ArtCenter College of Design where he now serves on the board of Trustees. He is also the Board Chair for the Design Management Institute.
Immediately before founding dreams âą design + life, Kevin was a co-founder of the strategic design & innovation capabilities at TWO top tier management consulting firms - Booz & Co. and the Boston Consulting Group.Â
His first book, "Reimagining Design: Unlocking Strategic Innovation" was published by The MIT Press in March, with the forward written by his good friend, the legendary technologist and designer, Dr. John Maeda.

Prior to joining IBM, Noelle was the Vice President of Digital Technology at National Public Radio. She has also held senior roles at Microsoft as a Principal Product Manager in AI and at Amazon, where she was a Senior Architect working on Alexa.Â
Alongside her busy corporate career, Noelle is also the CEO of the AI Leadership Institute, a global organisation that she founded to empower and inspire senior executives to think deeply about AI and how to apply it responsibly.

Before joining Bank of America, Milton was the AVP, Head of Digital Design and UX at The Hartford, a Fortune 500 insurance and investment company.
And, earlier in his career, Milton spent five and half years at ESPN, where he was responsible for leading the UI and UX for ESPN.com, ESPNFC.com and ESPNDeportes.
Alongside his busy corporate design career, since 2014 Milton has also been the Founder and CEO of PicSpotr, a proudly black-owned company and CRM thatâs specifically designed to empower professional photographers to build their businesses.
